Ichnyanske Grain Receiving Facility
In thirties of XX century Ichnyanske Grain Receiving Facility was founded on the skirts of the town Ichnya, Chernihiv region, near the railway station. Like other tens of grain receiving centers all over the state, Ichnyanske receiving center “Zagotzerno” stored and sold the agricultural products.
In June 1944 it was started the building of the next corn house in the territory of Ichnyanske grain reception centre. It was built another two corn houses during the period from 1946 to 1950. In 1975 Ichnyanske grain reception centre “Zagotzerno” was renamed to “Ichnyanske realization base”, and to “Ichnyanske Grain Receiving Facility” in 1979.
Today, the enterprise works two-ways: grain-collecting and grain-processing. The grain-collecting activity of the enterprise provides taking, processing, drying, storing and shipping of grain (the storage capacity makes 18.9 thousand tons).
The main storing cultures are wheat, maize, barley, rape, soy, buckwheat, oats and sunflower.
The processing capacities of subsidiary’s mill make 10 thousand tons of flour per annum, daily output – 50 tons.
The subsidiary’s capacities in taking/shipping of grain:
- taking from railway transport – 500 ton/day;
- taking from motor transport – 800 ton/day;
- motor transport loading – 800 ton/day;
- railway transport loading – 500 ton/day.
