According to the historical data the flour-yielding traditions in Pyryatin district were founded in 17th century. Till the Great Patriotic War there had been working two mills built in 1868 and 1888. After Pyryatin had been released, the citizens began to build up their town and its industrial facilities, including the mills. In March 1959 the center of “Zagotzerno” was joint to the mill.
The main area of subsidiary’s activity is rendering services in taking, brining the quality to the basic standards, storing and shipping of grain and its processing into flour.
The total service grain capacity of the subsidiary “Pyryatin Mill” makes 39 thousand tons.
The processing capacities of the subsidiary’s mill make 33.5 thousand tons of flour per annum, daily output – 145 tons.
The main storing cultures are wheat, maize, barley, ray and sunflower.
The subsidiary’s capacities in taking/shipping of grain:
- taking from motor transport – 500 ton/day;
- motor transport loading – 150 ton/day;
- railway transport loading – 700 ton/day.
